The Naturopathic Currents website provides reliable,  relevant, and scientifically grounded articles about integrative medicine and natural health products, contributed by well-informed naturopathic doctors (NDs) from Canada and the United States. Due to their extensive training, NDs have emerged as valuable sources of information.

In the past, the articles featured in Naturopathic Currents were published in six different languages, attracting over 6,000 monthly readers across nearly 200 countries. While the archived articles are still accessible, our most recent content is exclusively available in English and French.

Naturopathic Currents was created by Peter Wilkes, the founder and president of New Roots Herbal and Vitazan Professional, with the aim of providing a centralized platform for reliable knowledge from the world of naturopathic medicine. The site was launched in 2013 under the guidance and expertise of esteemed leaders in evidence-based naturopathic medicine, namely Dr. Heidi Fritz, M.A., ND, Dr. Philip Rouchotas, M.Sc., ND, and Dr. Chris Habib, ND. Their collective knowledge and prominence in the field contributed to the development and success of Naturopathic Currents.
