A recent study was conducted on 30 consecutive male patients presenting to an outpatient clinic complaining of manifestations of androgen deficiency in aging males (1). 750mg/day of Tribulus in 3 divided doses was provided for a duration of 3 months. Patients were monitored for serum testosterone and luteinizing hormone, as well as impacts on erectile function by a questionnaire. Results showed a significant difference in testosterone and erectile function, but not on luteinizing hormone. The authors conclude that Tribulus may be beneficial in cases of low testosterone and erectile dysfunction.
